Grammar Bytes: One of the best grammar sites on the Web, with definitions, explanations, lessons, and exercises. OWL (Grammar): Purdue's Online Writing Lab. Another excellent grammar resource, with detailed explanations and exercises. This link brings you to a page with grammar resources, but the site is an informative resource for all things that have to do with writing. OWL (Punctuation): This link brings you to a page with punctuation resources. OWL (Exercises): This link brings you to a page with various grammar, punctuation, and writing exercises. The Punctuation Guide: A dynamic, visual website for punctuation marks--simple, direct, and clear information. The Guide to Grammar and Writing: The Capital Community College Foundation's guide to grammar (and writing). An extremely informative site with an extensive list of interactive quizzes. Grammar Girl: She is informative and accurate. The site is a little difficult to navigate, with all of the advertising and other links. If you have a specific question on grammar or punctuation, google your question with the text "Grammar Girl," and you should get the correct answer. Follow her on Twitter (@grammargirl). Style and Usage Mega-Sentence: Read the "mega" sentence to understand the meaning of the sentence. Then choose the correct word(s) in the parentheses.
