SWAG & USAGE GROUP WORKDirections: Using the “Writing Guide” and the websites in "The Writer’s Toolbox,” create original, shareable learning materials for the Style and Usage concept and Commonly Confused Words assigned to your group. Your group will be evaluated on the accuracy of the content of your materials, the creativity and clarity of the format and style of your materials, the quality of your materials, and your individual collaborative work/skills.
Notes/Suggestions: Strive to create "professional products." "Professional products" are quality materials that are valuable to people NOT in our class. (Don't explicitly refer to our class and avoid using your last names in any of your materials.) The content of your materials must be accurate, engaging, clear, and original. If you use images or material that you did not create, you MUST cite those materials. (Your work should not rely heavily on images or material that you did not create.) “Shareable” means that the materials your group produces must be shareable in digital format. You can create something using analog materials (paper, etc.), but you must record it digitally (ex. take pictures). Digital-from-start materials will most likely be best for this project. Consider using the following apps/programs: infographics (Piktochart, Canva), Typorama, ThingLink, Explain Everything, Notability, Telligami, TouchCast, YouTube, podcasts, PowToon, PicCollage, Quizlet, Zaption, Kahoot, GoFormative, Socrative, Prezi, or ones not listed here. Your Style and Usage group must create the following four materials:
